Borderlands Marathon To Raise Money For Child's Play

A group of Australian games journalists from GameArena are gearing up for a forty-eight hour charity Borderlands marathon to raise money for Child's Play.

The four-player action will be streamed live and promises to feature some "special guests" from anywhere the team can get them. Events begin on 16 July at 6pm over there in Australia, which by my calculations makes it about 8am on the same day for British viewers.

There'll be a chat window active during the event too, so people can wish the players luck, slag them off for their terrible skills or just offer general encouragement. As anybody who has played the PC version of Borderlands will know, these guys clearly aren't doing this for fun.

Got a news tip? Send it to the team
