Atari has announced the launch of the Star Trek Online Architect which is a set of vitual tools that allows the community to create starships which they can then share with others via the Architect website.The site also features the mini-gameStar Trek Online Ship Shaper where players are challenged to create a ship as quickly a possible to a leaderboard.
STO gamers will be familiar with the excellent ship design features in-game and this new site is trying to replicate that as a promotion to push the game. Keeping in mind this is just really a promo site, there is the chance to win a replica captain's chair which will no doubt appeal to all Star Trek geeks like myself.
