Quantic Dream Working On Two New Projects

David Cage boss of Quantic Dream has declared the company is currently working on two projects.

“We currently work on two very different projects,” Cage confirmed to Examiner.

“After the success of Heavy Rain, we continue to explore how we can go further with interactive drama, working on emotion and interactive storytelling for a mature audience, but with a very different story and a different approach.”

Cage went onto say that normally developers struggle to get motivation for a new project especially after a massive title like Heavy Rain but assured that it’s “absolutely not the case at the moment.”

He mentioned that the company would be creating a new IP ruling out rumours of a sequel to Heavy Rain by saying the company would rather take risks and have a “exciting challenge” rather than sticking with the same tried and tested methods.

This could be talk of the rumoured new Quantic Dream title ‘Horizon’ which has apparently been casting for actors last month.

Why should you get excited over a two new Quantic Dream projects? Haven’t you played the immersive Heavy Rain? Shame on you, if you own a PS3 then you MUST experience this game.
