New Spore for ComicCon Reveal

The ComicCon website has been updated to show that EA and Maxis will be on hand for a big reveal which is understood to be the next game in the Spore universe. The new game is descibed as a "Sci-Fi Action-RPG based on the DNA of Spore" and is thought to be called Darkspore following EA's registration of the name darkspore.com.

While the domain was being setup, apparently Czech site sporehrdinove.ic.cz managed to snag some details including background information on the game and also a few screenshots.

It's unlikely we'll hear any more on this until the ComicCon discussion panel so we'll wait until the 24th to get all the sauce on the game.
