Borderlands GOTY Edition Incoming?

It looks like we could be seeing a Game of the Year edition of Boderlands if a listing by a retailer is anything to go by.

American store GameStop has a Borderlands Game of the year edition (GOTY) Official Strategy Guide listed on its site with the release date 7 September.

Although at the current time Gearbox hasn't announced a GOTY edition for Borderlands, it could be a hint at the future plans of the developer.

The rumour of such a move does not provide that much of a shock due to the success of the title and Take Two CEO Ben Feder confirmed back in May that the company would continue to support of the game.

The GOTY edition would presumably contain the standard game including the three DLC packs that has been released for the game consisting of; Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot and The Secret Armory of General Knoxx.

If you want to find out more about more about the stunning Borderlands check out our review and more in the games overview now.

We've contacted Gearbox about the GOTY edition but expect the ever original "no comment" from the PR guys.
