A listing sent out by Microsoft has revealed it is looking for alpha testers for a title that is a “giant, revolutionary step for PC strategy games.”
Robot Entertainment, which is made up by ex-Ensemble Studio members, is currently touted to be developing the game with the company working with Microsoft Game Studios on an unannounced title.
While not much is known about the IP, codenamed Project S, a tester has already let slip the S stands for Spartan leading many to believe the game has something to do with the Halo universe.
People over on the offical forums are speculating it could be either Age of Empires IV, Halo Wars 2 or could be a PC port of Xbox 360 original Halo Wars, however it wouldn’t be that groundbreaking for the PC.
At the current time we can only speculate while the alpha testing is underway, who knows another tester might let slip some more details in the near future.
What do you think Project S could be? Let us know in the comments section below.
