Mythos Coming to Europe

Some great news for fans of Mythos, the action RPG that was originally being delveoped under the watchful eyes of the the now defunct Flagship Studios before being taken on by Hanbit. Frogster has today revealed they will be bringing the game to Europe early next year with a Beta test kicking off before the end of this year.

Frogster will expand Mythos with new content and features in cooperation with the Korean publisher to help keep the game fresh, something they know a lot about from their work on Runes of Magic.

The free to play RPG will be released here in Europe in five languages which will include Turkish German and English. The addition of Turkish is the first title to be translated by Frogster for signalling their entry into the Turkish market.

Frogster's Chief Licensing Officer Andreas Weidenhaupt added: "The premature dropping of Mythos before its release was a real loss for the genre. That's why we're really pleased to finally bring the game to Europe. We're not just going to meet the expectations of the game's fans - we're going to surpass them!"

The plug was pulled on the game way back in 2008 and it was shaping up to be quite a tidy free to play action RPG thanks to the pedigree of developers at Flagship who were working on the title. Fans of the game were extremely dissapointed when the Beta servers were switched off so this latest development is good news for action RPG gamers.

Gamers can now register for the newsletter on the Mythos Europe website.
