Sucker Punch Grateful Of Naughty Dog Feedback

Sucker Punch’s Brian Flemming and Chris Zimmerman have revealed that Uncharted developer Naughty Dog gave the team valuable feedback when it was producing inFamous and inFamous 2.

“We got some notes from Naughty Dog when we were three months from releasing inFamous about what frustrated them about the climbing system,” explained producer Brian Fleming to NowGamer.

Fleming went onto say the feedback was like getting it from “somebody you trust and respect” and that Naughty Dog had the team’s “best interests at heart.”

“Testers don’t understand what it is you’re trying to do at the level that someone who spends all day, every day working on Uncharted can.”

Chris Zimmerman went onto describe how a trip to the Naughty Dog studios gave the team even more inspiration for inFamous 2.

Zimmerman revealed the “overall goal” for Sucker Punch is to “make as big an improvement between inFamous and inFamous 2 as between Uncharted and Uncharted 2.”

inFamous 2 will launch next year exclusively on PS3 and from the first gameplay video it looks absolutely stunning.
