Epic Mickey Has Epic Team Working On It

Junction Point studio has revealed it has almost 275 people working on Epic Mickey.

Studio head Warren Spector revealed the news in an interview with 1UP stating "when you have a project this ambitious, you have to go big!"

While the studio has about 115 people working on the title, an impressive feat in itself, when you include all the outsourcing the number is much near the epic 275.

Despite Junction Point working on the majority of the title the developer also uses an internal Disney division and Spector believes splitting the art and designs between the two is right thing.

He explained, "Disney has some of the best concept artists in the world, of course we'd use that resource!"

Studios in Bulgaria have been working on the level designs with Junction Point tweaking the final designs with follow-up revisions.

For Epic Mickey it definitely is a production of epic proportions and we were impressed with Epic Mickey when we got to try it last year.

Epic Mickey will release on Nintendo Wii in December.
