Dead Nation Coming To PS3

Sony has revealed the details of the upcoming PSN title Dead Nation.

The third-person survival horror sees you in a world where a deadly virus has swept through the globe. You're one of the last remaining survivors and armed to the teeth with an extensive inventory of weapons you must try to fight to survive while finding a cure.

You will be able to track zombie kills using an online map which will also compare your own kills to everyone else playing the game.

Apparently Dead Nation will feature "the smartest zombies" which will hide in the shadows ready to launch a surprise attack, expect zombies to drop down from rooftops onto you and also try to grab you through fences.

Over 30 zombies will be visible on the screen at once and will lurk around in packs ready to take you out. Sounds mighty good fun especially with the variety of pistols, explosives and shotguns.

Dead Nation will launch on PlayStation 3 through the PlayStation Network later this year.
