Ubisoft Confirms Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

Ubisoft has announced a new game based on the upcoming film Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.

The game will follow the film's story with Scott Pilgrim falling in love with Ramona Flowers, however to win her heart he has to defeat seven of Ramona's evil exes. Damn does that girl have a whole lot of extra baggage?

One of the striking features of the game will be the old school 8-bit engine but Ubisoft has promised it will feature HD technology. Also promised will be the referencing to numerous new and old cult games with animations created by world famous pixel artist Paul Robertson.

Co-op will feature with support of four player and the game will let you create combo attacks with your team mates. A levelling system will allow you to change the abilities of Scott Pilgrim during his quest against the exes and numerous other evil forces.

To be honest this game just sounds like one massive game of over the top entertainment. Check below for the screenshots:
