An EA spokesperson has told IncGamers that the information posted on the Play.com website earlier today "was not correct".
The news item earlier today stated there would be a 12 day beta period starting on 5 July. The post was pulled from the site and it's been confirmed this was an error.
What that means for the beta is yet unclear. Will there be a beta or not? We don't know. All we do know is that there won't be a beta on 5 July...
