Infinity Ward has announced the Resurgence map pack will be available on 6 July.
A tweet by Infinity Ward's Robert Bowling confirmed the news stating:
"The Resurgence Package DLC for Modern Warfare 2 will hit @playstation (US) and PC (worldwide) July 6th! For @playstation (EU+) its July 7th."
The Resurgence Pack includes three new maps in the form of Carnival, Trailer Park and Fuel, while two classics from COD4 return with Strike and Vacant. Find out what we thought of the map pack in the latest edition of the IncGamers Podcast.
Meanwhile Infinity Ward hinted today it is looking at the possibility of adding playlists, which don't reward players with Killstreaks, find out all the details here.
