Darkfall Patch In Testing

DarkfallThe developers behind the MMO Darkfall have given some details about the game's next patch.

The patch, which is currently in testing, will make iron nodes randomly drop rare ore. This will allow more players to make high end gear. The amount of AoE damage caused by magic spells will now depend on the target's distance from the explosion, addressing some PvP issues raised by players.

Other changes include a mark on the mini map and world map, showing the character's last death location. The health curve for all players has also been modified – health gain is now much faster at lower levels, making new players harder to kill.

The patch is expected to arrive early next week, provided there are no more delays.
