Age Of Conan Rise Of The Godslayer Soundtrack Released

Age of Conan: Rise of the God SlayerFuncom has announced that the official soundtrack CD for Age of Conan's latest expansion, Rise of the Godslayer, is now available.

The music from the game was composed, orchestrated and produced by the award-winning composer Knut Avenstroup Haugen. In addition to all music tracks from the expansion, the soundtrack package also contains A DVD with the original 5.1 surround mix of the music including bonus tracks, playable on home theatre or other surround systems. Each track of the surround score is accompanied by a slideshow, featuring original concept art from Rise of the Godslayer, most of which has never been shown before. On top of that, all tracks are present in MP3 versions as well, and there's even an in-game Bone Flute item, along with a number of other bits and pieces.

This soundtrack carries on Funcom’s proud tradition of creating excellent and in-depth music for our games,” says Craig Morrison, executive producer and game director at Funcom. “Music in games is becoming increasingly important, and our use of the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra underlines our dedication to continue to produce award-winning titles with the best music.”
