Sony Online Entertainment has confirmed that a number of Vanguard servers will be merged next month.
On 7 July at 10:00 PDT, the three US servers of Telon will be merged into one. Community relations officer, Raijinn, made the announcement on the official servers earlier, giving the reasons behind the move:
“It is our hope that this integration will result in a more consistent and higher player population which will, in turn, lead to an even more enjoyable and beneficial player experience.”
That's not the end of the mergers though; in August the Halgar server will be consolidated into the new Telon server. This new mega-server will be re-named, players can vote for the new name on the game's forums.
