MAG DLC Incoming

Zipper Interactive has revealed the first DLC pack for the online PS3 shooter MAG.

The expansion pack entitled Interdiction was revealed over on the PlayStation Blog last night.

A brand new game mode going by the name of the DLC will accompany three new neutral maps for PlayStation 3 owners to battle over.

Designed for up to 128 players, Interdiction will consist of three command posts and pit two warring factions against each other to seize, control and then defend the posts using "several heavily-armed convoys."

The three maps; Lake Bayano Spur, Sovot Motorway and Iron Creek Quarry have all been designed for the Interdiction game mode, and every squad involved in the map will be given one APC potentially resulting in 16 APCs on a level at once!

Zipper has also revealed an improved heavily armour set for all three factions which will turn your gun slinging squad member into a "walking tank".

New in-game ribbons, medals and PS3 trophies will also accompany the DLC when it launches on PSN 23 June for £6.99 GBP/€7.99 EU.
