A host of domain names containing the words "Sims" and "Medieval" have been registered.
Superannuation spotted the list of registrations, which includes simsmedieval.com, thesimsmedieval.com, thesimsgetmedieval.com, and .net variants of all three.
Could The Sims be going back to the medieval era? Seems likely. We're not sure whether this is likely to be an expansion (and it's worth noting that every Sims game has at least one expansion which vastly changes the game) or a MySims-style spinoff, but considering how utterly joyous The Sims 3 was, we're not entirely sure we mind.
