Epic has announced a "major" update to Gears of War 2, promising numerous fixes and tweaks and the introduction of 'Social Matches.'
This match feature will allow players to jump in and out of games in progress, without any disruptions. Unfortunately, this will only work if said player also owns all four of Gears 2's map packs.
In an effort to entice more people into getting those, an All Fronts Collection (which includes all previous Gears 2 DLC) is being offered for 800 MS Points ($10.00 USD.)
As a final hurrah for the title update, Epic is running a triple experience weekend that should begin tomorrow and run through Tuesday 1 June.
