Bad Company 2 Onslaught Map Enhancements Explained

DICE has revealed the numerous enhancements made to the maps in the upcoming Onslaught DLC for Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

Speaking to IncGamers, DICE man Bjorn Johnsson explained the various tweaks designed to make the maps feel different from their standard competitive multiplayer counterparts.

“Basically they are the same maps but we have enhanced them in many different ways,” he said.

“We have different effects like the sandstorm in Attacama Desert, you play one of the night maps in daytime and one of the daytime maps in night mode, basically.”

“Also we added a load of other weather effects and different lighting,” he added.

“We have tweaked it quite a bit to make it feel different.”

Onslaught, the four player co-op mode to be released as premium DLC, will include four maps from the multiplayer game: Nelson Bay, Attacam Desert, Valparaiso and Isla Innocentes.

We recently got hands-on with the Onslaught mode on Nelson Bay, stay tuned for our preview
