APB Pre-Orders Open On Steam

APB pre-orders have been opened on Steam.

From what we can tell they're only available in America right now, as checking the game's page gives us a "Currently unavailable in your region" error - but that doesn't mean we can't tell you what goodies are in there for those who make an early purchase.

General ScreenshotThose who pre-order the hotly-anticipated crime MMO will get early access to the game in two stages, as well as some exclusive in-game items.

"Key to the City" will, from what we can tell, give players 5 hours of district gameplay and unlimited social gameplay from 10 June to 19 June - a fair while before the game's US launch on 29 June.

There's also "3 Days Early Game Access" which we imagine will do exactly what it says on the tin. That's 10 hours of district gameplay and, again, unlimited social gameplay, presumably for the three days before the game launches.

Finally, there are seven exclusive in-game bits and bobs, which you can see in the pic to the right. You'll get the Chicken and Strike A Pose emotes, a special Enforcer car, a special Criminal car, Criminal and Enforcer clothing, and a Pioneer decal to use as you see fit.

APB is due out in the States on 29 June, with a European release to follow on 2 July. Stay tuned for our preview, coming soon, and if you're dying to give it a try for yourself bear in mind that we're still giving beta keys away.
