BlizzCon Tickets Dated

Blizzard has announced that BlizzCon tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, June 2 and Saturday, June 5, 2010. The event will once again be covered by DirectTV on pay per view and viewers will be able to switch between panels and activities during the show via a multi-channel Internet stream, a new feature for the coverage this year.

Tickets for BlizzCon are priced at 150 USD each and will be available for purchase from the official BlizzCon website. The tickets will be released in two separate batches on June 2 at 7 PM Pacific time and on June 5 at 10 a.m. Pacific time.

Mike Morhaime, CEO and cofounder of Blizzard Entertainment added:

"BlizzCon is a unique opportunity for our players to meet one another, strengthen the friendships they’ve formed online, and have a great time celebrating a shared passion for gaming together with Blizzard employees,”. “For those who can’t attend, we’re pleased to be providing an unprecedented level of access to the activities and attractions that BlizzCon has to offer."

Not everyone was happy with the DirectTV coverage last year due to limited panels but it looks like they plan to improve things with the multi-channel option. The DirectTV deal will be available to US viewers priced 39.95 USD. DirectTV viewers will also get access to another  BlizzCon-exclusive World of Warcraft in-game item.

More information is alwo available on WoW: IncGamers.com.
