EA has told IncGamers that it made the feel of the weapons a development priority for Medal of Honor.
We caught up with Greg Goodrich at last week's EA showcase who stressed that tight, responsive gunplay is crucial to making a successful shooter.
“We looked at it and just said 'what do we want to do first and foremost?'" said Goodrich, "and that's to create a great core shooter with great mechanics and a really solid and slick through-the-gun experience.”
“At the end of the day, that's what shooters are about. It's about holding your weapon, drawing it, aiming it at an enemy and doing that again and again," he added.
"We concentrated a lot of time and effort on that through-the gun experience.”
Stay tuned for our Medal of Honor single player preview and find out how EA plans to “open up” the series here.
