New Need For Speed World Screens

EA has released five new screenshots of Need For Speed World.

The forthcoming racing MMO is still holding periodic open beta sessions right now, and the screens below confirm that the game will definitely feature cars.

We're willing to bet that these cars also go quite quickly.

My total lack of petrolhead knowledge aside, the concept of a racing MMO sounds an interesting one. Senior producer John Doyle has stated that the title will have "deep RPG style progression," which will presumably translate to steadily tooling up your vehicle into some kind of racing-striped speed beast.
