The Halo: Reach beta was the third most-played game on Xbox LIVE last week.
According to the LIVE activity chart, the beta for the highly-anticipated shooter was beaten into third place by Halo 3: ODST and Activision's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
The Reach beta, open to all gamers with a copy of Halo 3: ODST, initially proved popular with over one million players taking part in the game within 24 hours of its release.
