Better known for the MMORPG Atlantica Online, NDOORS has been snapped up by MMO publisher Nexon.
Nexon is set to acquire a 67 percent stake in NDOORS which includes shares of the former chairman, Seong-Mun Kwon. NDOORS has also secured management rights as the largest shareholder. NDOORS will now be incorporated as a subsidiary of NEXON. Su-Min, CEO of NEXON added:
“NEXON has been carrying out ongoing investment in the companies with outstanding development efforts. NDOORS, as well as an excellent development capability with domestic and international publishing capabilities would be a big help to expand NEXON’s portfolio and to carry out a global expansion policy”.
Atlantica was awarded “Korea Games Award First Prize” in 2008.
