Dead To Rights: Retribution DLC Announced

Namco Bandai has announced a set of Dead to Rights: Retribution DLC.

The DLC, entitled the GAC Pack, gives players two new modes of play in addition to the previously pre-order exclusive Jack Pack and Shadow Pack.

Dead to Rights: RetributionThe pre-order bonuses first: the Shadow Pack gives protagonist Jack's dog, Shadow, stealth camouflage, which will presumably make it easier for him to sneak past enemies in his stealth sections. The Jack Pack, on the other hand, gives Jack some Anti-Crime armour, and also throws in a "noir mode" with black, white, and red graphic filters, and an "action mode" which turns all bullets into explosives.

Then there's the new stuff with the GAC Pack. First up is Assault on the 87th Precinct, a mission that lets players control a GAC Sniper, Brawler, and Tank as they attack the GCPD stronghold in order to contain the police within. The other mode is Riot Control Mode, which has Jack and Shadow fending off waves of GAC forces with points and Achievements on offer based on your speed and style. The latter will also have online leaderboards to prove how good you are.

The DLC is due to hit Europe on 26 May, with America getting it a little later on 1 June. It's set to be "accessibly priced," though we can't find any specifics. We'd wager 400 Microsoft Points/$5 USD, ourselves.

We thought Dead to Rights: Retribution was a solid title, although not particularly spectacular. Still, these modes sound like they'll contribute nicely to the title.
