Warcraft Film Delayed, Again

It seems the Warcraft film has been pushed back again, according to Blizzard Entertainment's vice president of creative development, Chris Metzen.

The movie, which was originally due to be released in 2008, then 2009, was meant to be going into production after the director Sam Raimi finished making the next Spider-Man movie later this year. When the Spidey project was cancelled, WoW fans hoped that the film would be moved forward, however, according to a recent interview with Metzen, the WoW film is nowhere near ready to begin the filming phase:

“We’ve been through a number of story meetings, and we’re still kind of getting it together with Raimi and his team and jamming on themes that we want to chase. We’re kinda getting a lot of values together – what kind of story we want to tell, what do we want people to feel, what is the best way to look at this big franchise.”
