A BioWare source has told IncGamers that the team is doing what it can to keep the community abreast of the situation currently occuring with the PlayStation 3 version of Dragon Age: Origins.
Yesterday, we reported that Dragon Age: Origins has been repeatedly crashing for PlayStation 3 users since the console's 3.30 firmware update.
Since then, a source has told us that BioWare is "doing what we can to keep the community aware of progress," and that the community has been "incredibly helpful in narrowing down options for the causes."
Which is good to hear. If the community wasn't being helpful then sorting this out could take awhile. As the bug cannot be reproduced on the devkit systems the development team uses, they're relying on help from the community to work out what the problem is.
If you've been experiencing crashes on your PlayStation 3 version of Dragon Age: Origins, then pop over to the forums and post up what's happened. Likewise, if you're eager to see how BioWare has been interacting with the community and what progress is being made, then use this link to see only the official BioWare posts in that thread.
