3D Dot Game Heroes Character Creation Tool Goes Online

SouthPeak has announced that the 3D Dot Game Heroes character creation tool has gone online.

You can access the tool for yourself over here, and plonk blocks together to create your 3D Dot Game Heroes protagonist.

If you fancy, this means you can create a knight, or a soldier, or a wizard. Or a badger. Or, if you're as sad as me and have a similar lack of artistic talents, a Dragon Quest Slime.

3D Dot Game Heroes is a parody of traditional Japanese RPG action-adventures like Zelda. As a character of your own creation, you have to save the kingdom of Dotnia from the Dark Bishop Fuelle. It's described as a "love letter" to this old-school gameplay, with 3D graphics designed to represent the old days of pixel fun.

3D Dot Game Heroes is due out on PlayStation 3 on 14 May.
