Halo: Reach Live-Action Short Airs Tomorrow

Microsoft has announced that "The Birth of a Spartan," a 60-second live-action Halo: Reach tease, will air tomorrow.

The 60-second short, showing Carter-259's transformation from your average young man into a superhuman Spartan, will air on UK and US TV tomorrow, and will also feature in American cinemas.

Halo: ReachIf that's not good enough for you, then you'll also be able to see it from 5am GMT tomorrow on the Welcome to Noble Team website - where you can also upload a photo of yourself to see how you'd look as a Spartan-III - and Xbox LIVE Gold users will be able to download a longer, 2.5 minute version of the clip.

The short has been directed by Noam Murro, who previously directed 2008's Smart People as well as a number of award-winning ad spots.

In terms of actual dates and times, it'll air in the UK on Sky Sports 2 tomorrow night after the Champions League semi-final between Lyon and Bayern Munich, and then again on ITV1 on 28th April following the Barcelona vs. Inter Milan match. It'll also pop up at various times on both the UK and the US on Comedy Central, Spike TV, Bravo, FX, TNT, TBS, and more. US cinemas, on the other hand, will be showing it between 28 April and 13 May.

We rather suspect this is going to be worth a look. Keep your eyes peeled, and note that the differing collector's editions have been announced.
