UK Bookmaker Takes Bets On Street Fighter IV Clash


UK bookmaker Paddy Power has announced it will take bets on the upcoming Super Street Fighter IV clash at Capcom HQ.

Two of the UK's most respected Street Fighter IV players, Ryan Hart and Femi Adeboye are set to face off at 7pm GMT on Thursday 29 April. The event will be streamed live to the Paddy Power website and betting is now live at http://www.paddypower.com/bet/novelty-betting.

Super Street Fighter IV"Videogames are as much a legitimate sport as any other," says Paddy Power, communications director, Paddy Power.
"We wanted to offer sports fans and games players the ultimate thrill by offering the chance to win big on the outcome of a Super Street Fighter IV competition. If it proves popular, we'll open further books on other videogame competitions."
