Fallen Earth Developer Positions Filled

Fallen EarthFallen Earth LLC has announced a re-shuffle of studio heads following the departure of the lead designer Lee Hammock.

Four long-standing team members have been promoted, Wes Platt is now director of content development, Marie Croall is senior game designer, Greg Roth is senior systems designer and Josh Peery is the content team lead.

Players have been given a chance to get to know the new team members a bit better by sending in questions for them to the official forums. The answers will be rolled out starting on Monday with Wes Platt.

Both Wes Platt and Marie Croall will be available during the Twitter developer chat on Thursday 29 April at 15:00 EDT. Catch it at @FallenEarth

The company also announced the date of the upcoming patch 1.4, now known as Blood Sports. The game will be updated on 7 May and will include four new PvP match types and the Deadfall region, which raises the level cap to 50 and brings with it another 130 missions. Graphics upgrades will also arrive with 1.4, in the form of refined animations and an effects revamp.

“We are thrilled to be able to launch all of the new content in one major patch,” said Fallen Earth Project Manager, Colin Dwan. “The team has worked very hard to make this happen and we’re sure players will enjoy all of the new gameplay enhancements!” Visit the official site for more info.
