Square Enix has released a new set of Front Mission Evolved screenshots.
Front Mission Evolved uproots the series from its mech-based strategy game origins and turns it into a third-person mech sim/shooter.
The screens we have here show off what looks like a mix between cinematics, in-mech action, and on-foot action. Only they're not called mechs - they're called Wanzers, and before you devolve into childish giggling, I'll point out that's a shortened form of "Wanderpanzer" or "Walking Tank." You may now giggle.
Anyway, if you're not big on mechs and don't know your Wanzers from your Omnimechs, then be sure to check out our developer interview from E3. Judging by the screenshots, it appears to be coming along nicely.
