Polyphony Digital's Kazunori Yamauchi has stated that he'll be "angry" when work finishes on long-awaited racer Gran Turismo 5.
Yamuachi told PSM3 (via CVG) "I'd probably be relieved [to finish development] in terms of having fulfilled my responsibilities, but I may be angry at the same time."
"As it has been with all of the releases so far, I'm never fully satisfied with what I create," he added, by way of explanation.
We reckon that Yamauchi might want to worry more about the anger of the fans if the game isn't completed, rather than his own anger at finishing it.
Gran Turismo 5, which is going to be the best game ever and will revolutionise the industry and bring peace to all men and let us talk to dolphins but no you can't play it yet it's not ready is due out at some point before the sun's harmful rays turn the planet's surface into a blackened, sizzling husk. At least, we hope so, although we're seriously starting to wonder.
