Skate 3 Demo Competition Announced

EA Sports has announced a new Skate 3 demo competition.

The publisher is asking US and Canadian Skate 3 fans (of at least 13 years old) to create and upload their videos using the demo's in-built replay editor.

Each week (for three weeks) the five videos with the most votes will qualify for the top prize, with the Skate 3 producers making the final call. The top prize consists of a 250GB PS3, a copy of Skate 3 and four other EA games of the player's choice. The rest of the top four will all receive a copy of Skate 3.

The three winners of the weekly competitions will qualify for the grand prize: an all-expenses paid trip to New York to attend the Maloof Money Cup. The prize includes flights for the winner and two guests, three nights accommodation, VIP admission to the Maloof Money Cup and $1000 USD spending money.

The dates for the competition are as follows:

Week 1
Contest Starts: 19 April @ 12:00 AM PST
Contest Ends: 25 April @ 11:59 PM PST

Week 2
Contest Starts: 26 April, 2010 @ 12:00 AM PST
Contest Ends: 2 May, 2010 @ 11:59 PM PST

Week 3
Contest Starts: 3 May 2010 @ 12:00 AM PST
Contest Ends: 9 May 2010 @ 11:59 PM PST

The grand prize winner will be announced on 14 May.
