Left 4 Dead 2's The Passing Due Next Week

The Left 4 Dead 2 community page on Steam has announced that much-anticipated DLC "The Passing" will be available next week.

General Screenshot"If [The Passing] was coming out next week we would say right here - Left 4 Dead 2's The Passing is coming out next week and we will be updating the blog next week with more news on the release. There you go." the page states.

You may recall that this new campaign promises to unite survivors from both Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2, but that somebody probably isn't going to make it.

The Passing will add new weapons in the form of an M60 machine gun and a trusty golf club. It also teases some mysterious "new game modes."

As we reported back in March, The Passing will cost Xbox 360 owners 560 MS Points. The PC release will, we assume at this point, be free.

We'll bring you further news as it emerges, or if that pricing changes.

For now, you can play an exciting game of 'spot the Zoey' with the screenshot above or just admire Nick's golf stance.
