Funcom Behind Volcanic Eruption?

The Secret WorldAs well as games development, it seems as if Funcom may be getting into the business of megalomania.

Following the news of last night's volcanic eruption, a Tweet from Erling Ellingsen has us wondering if Funcom might be behind the whole thing.

“Dark days are coming! #TSW http://bit.ly/bPBsMJ” wrote Funcom's director of communications.

IncGamers, always keen to get to the bottom of global conspiracy, contacted Ellingsen who refused to confirm or deny Funcom's involvement in the Icelandic eruption.

Funcom is known for Tweeting mysterious links to promote The Secret World, which is a game based on magic, myths, conspiracies and dark horrors.

What's next in Funcom's master plan? Let us know in the comments section.
