World Of Warcraft Cataclysm: Paladin Preview

Blizzard has released the preview for the Paladin class in World of Warcraft's upcoming Cataclysm expansion.

Paladins can expect three new spells, Blinding Shield which stuns all mobs that are facing the Paladin, just like Eadric the Pure in the Trial of the Champion encounter. Healing Hands is a six-second healing DoT that heals all allies within a short distance.

Finally, and possibly the most impressive, is Guardian of Ancient Kings, which temporarily summons a guardian that performs different tasks depending on the paladin's talent spec. A guardian summoned by a holy Paladin will heal the most wounded ally in the area, tanking Paladins will get a guardian who takes some of the damage for them and one summoned by a retribution Paladins will help with damage-dealing for a while.
