Splinter Cell ConvictionThe DLC ths week is an MP7A1 Machine Pistol which players will be able to download from Xbox LIVE through the game's Extras menu for use in the game.

Ubisoft also mentioned the sort of things we can expect in the future, with "new weapons, skins and even a brand new Deniable Ops map" mooted.

Splinter Cell: Conviction was released on Xbox 360 yesterday in the USA, with a UK release coming on 16 April - this Friday. PC users have a bit longer to wait, sadly, with the American release coming on 29 April and the PAL release on 30 April.
