Starbreeze has trademarked Syndicate three times.
The trademarks, spotted by Superannuation, appear to confirm that the title Starbreeze is currently working on with EA following a project cancellation is indeed Syndicate, rather than the new Bourne game.
We've contacted EA for comment; until then, we recommend you look forward to seeing what's coming from Syndicate. This isn't the first story we've heard today about a popular old franchise getting a bit of a modern reboot, either.
