Ubisoft has assured Splinter Cell: Conviction fans that the Xbox 360 freezing bug has now been resolved.
Following the game's release in the US yesterday, many Xbox 360 users reported that the game locked up, most commonly during the second mission in the single player game. While some users suggested a temporary fix for the problem, advising players to clear their cache, the pressure was on Ubisoft to release an update to solve the problem.
Ubi has since announced that said update is now available to download and should fix the freezing problem.
“Freezing issues with Splinter Cell Conviction have been resolved,” said the publisher's latest tweet.
“Happy sneaking.”
