Programmer Jon Shiring and designer Mackey McCandlish are the latest duo to announce their departure from troubled developer Infinity Ward.
Shiring, who had been with the company for almost six years, revealed his resignation via his twitter account. "I resigned today" he said, "I'm incredibly proud of everything we accomplished and I'm going to miss everyone."
It later emerged that McCandlish had also decided to join the increasingly fashionable 'former Infinity Ward employee' club, reportedly sharing his decision through Facebook. "We had a great 8+ year run going there," he posted on twitter.
Shiring and McCandlish are the fifth and sixth employees to part company with Infinity Ward since 1 March 2010. They have yet to confirm any future plans.
In other (somewhat coincidental) news, former Infinity Ward heads Jason West and Vince Zampella today announced the formation of Respawn Entertainment.
At this rate, we have to wonder whether Infinity Ward will have any staff left by the end of the month.
