Double Fine Wants A Senior Visual Effects Artist

Tim Schafer's Double Fine development team is looking to recruit a senior visual effects artist for its San Francisco studio.

Brutal LegendThe main duties will be to "define the visual benchmarking and production methodology for the creation of computer-generated FX animations" and "design and create elements for real-time, in-game digital effects," apparently. We assume this means making colourful things move and stuff.

Don't fire off that CV just yet though. The role requires "a minimum of 3 years of video game experience, and at least one published game on PS3, Xbox 360 or Wii." It also requires the successful candidate to badger Tim Schafer about a new Grim Fandango game until he gives in and makes one. That's not actually true, but we'd like it to be.

"Just doing our part. Makin' jobs, savin' economies," said Schafer on his twitter feed.
