Blizzard has released more class previews for its upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft, Cataclysm.
Following the earlier Shaman, Warlock and Death Knight previews, the classes listed below have also been looked at. Druids can look forward to new abilities that do AoE damage and give a buff to increase group movement by 40% for 8 seconds. Mages will receive several new cool spells including Flame Orb which does damage to any enemy nearby, a party haste buff and Wall of Fog, useful against several enemies at once and in PvP.
Hunters will be overjoyed to learn the class is getting a thorough working-over. All traps will be launchable in Cataclysm, more good news is that ammo is being removed completely, and Hunters will start the game at level 1 with a racial pet, no more level 1-10 solo.
Rogues are set to see a few big changes too; a new skill called the Smoke Bomb, which is basically a portable Line of Sight blocker, will be available to level 85 Rogues, but stun locks will be nerfed. However, Rogue's stamina will be buffed and their survivability will be significantly increased.
Priests are getting a couple of interesting new spells; Mind Spike is a little like Mind Flay on the move, the addition of Inner Will as an alternative to Inner Fire is something that PvP players will enjoy, and lastly there's Leap of Faith. LoF works like the Death Knight's Death Grip, except that Priests will be able to pull friendly players out of harm's way.
