Konami has released 11 new shots of Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, depicting platforming and combat in a mix of environments.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is a reboot of the Castlevania franchise and plays out as a third-person action adventure, with players taking the role of the mysterious Gabriel.
Expect top-notch voice work from the likes of Robert Carlyle, Sir Patrick Stewart, Natasha McElhone, Jason Isaacs, and more.
And fear not, arachnophobes: unlike this set, there are no giant spiders in view here. That said, one of the screenshots is set in a location called the Clockwork Tower, so Castlevania fans can probably expect floating, petrifying medusa heads.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow is due out sometime in 2010 on both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
