Red Dead Redemption's Free Roam Mode Revealed

Rockstar has detailed the Free Roam multiplayer mode in Red Dead Redemption.

In a video about the open world western's multiplayer game, Rockstar reveals that the game lobby provides full access to the RDR's entire open world setting. With each lobby allowing up to 16 players, you can form posses (of up to eight players) with the leader able to set waypoints for other members.

Red Dead RedemptionYou can team up to take down gang-hideouts in multi-part team-based challenges, take on rival posses or seek out the game's designated hunting areas and survive against waves of wild animals. Or you could just hop on some horses and explore the game world together.

The lobby also features an XP system, with 50 levels on offer, giving you access to new weapons, player models and mounts as you progress.

We very much like the sound of the Free Roam in Red Dead Redemption and can't wait to form the IncGamers posse. Details on more competitive multiplayer modes are expected to be released soon so stay tuned to IncGamers for all the news.
