Peter Molyneux has told IGN that Fable III will feature "the greatest cast that any computer game has ever had."
This is the latest in a historic string of nuanced announcements by the Lionhead designer, who managed to stop short of suggesting that Fable III will be able to do your washing up, turn lead into gold and grant eternal life to all who play it. Still, at least he didn't claim to have invented dogs this time.
Fable III will feature the voices of Stephen Fry (returning as Reaver), John Cleese and Jonathan Ross - with further casting announcements promised.
We agree it's a pretty good line-up, but celebrity voice acting isn't exactly unfamiliar territory for gamers. Patrick Stewart (Oblivion), Ron Perlman (Fallout 3) and Billy Bob Thornton (Deadly Creatures) have all leant their voices to games.
