Valve has announced that Modern Warfare 2's multiplayer will be open to all Steam users this weekend.
Modern Warfare 2's rather good multiplayer will be free for all to play this weekend, and the client is available to pre-load now through this Steam news page.
The offer will run from Thursday 8 April through to the end of the weekend, so get pre-loading now. If you've had worries that the PC version's lack of dedicated servers and lean and all sorts of other things would ruin it all, then now's your chance to either confirm or assuage those fears.
