Alan Wake Coming A Week Early

Microsoft has announced that Alan Wake will be coming to European Xbox 360s a week earlier than planned.

Previously dated for 21 May, the European release is now set for 14 May.

The release dates in other regions remain the same, with the US set for 18 May and Japan set for 27 May. Obviously, the thing to take from this is that we get it first.

Alan Wake is a 360-exclusive which sees the titular horror writer in the town of Bright Falls, where strange things are afoot. For a bit of detail on what you can expect, go have a look at our preview, but be warned that these strange things may involve rocking horses - which, as you know, are the supernatural world's most dangerous killers.
